EDUCATION - supporting parental choice

Parents are responsible for the education of their children, and there is a critical need for parental involvement in the decision making process. When parents are meaningfully involved in their children’s education, scholastic achievement improves greatly. Parents need to have a clear understanding of the curriculum and programs which may influence their children, giving them the ability to ensure that their values will not be undermined. A parent’s responsibility does not end when their child enters the school building, neither should their parental rights.
