We believe the presence of the father in the home is vitally important to the well-being of everyone in the family. The role of the father has a great impact on the social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth of the children. Both mothers and fathers bring unique contributions to the job of parenting. Unfortunately, the dramatic increase of fatherless families has had extremely negative implications on the health of the family and society.
