SB2394 Hearing on Wed, March 4th
SB 2394 will be up for hearing in the House Human Services Committee on Wednesday, March 4th at 1:30pm.
SB 2394, providing for prenatal care to a minor with out parental notification and approval passed the senate. NDFA offered amendments to provide for the prenatal care of the minor, and at the same time, maintain the involvement and approval of the parents. Unfortunately the senate committee did not adopt the amendments, and chose to pass the bill without regard for the parental rights. We will continue to work on this bill in the House, seeking to amend to an acceptable version, if not-we will oppose the bill.
