ND Legislative Update
While it was difficult to see HB 1572 defeated, we are very thankful for the favorable vote on the other 3 bills and the lone resolution. We are thankful to so many of you for contacting your legislators, and are thankful to those legislators supporting our positions, and especially for those speaking on behalf of the bills. And above all, we are thankful to our Sovereign God for blessing this day with a spirit of peace and purpose as these very important bills were discussed on their respective assembly floors. HB 1371 the Ultrasound Bill NDFA Supported Passed 44-1
As a part of the informed consent section of the code, the abortion facility must offer to perform an ultrasound and offer the opportunity to the woman to view that ultrasound image.
