Do You Have an Organized Prayer Group? Join Us In Goal of 10,000 People Praying for ND
Attn: Pastors and Prayer Groups
Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Dear Pray-ers,
We are contacting you because we have been in prayer regarding all the needs of the State. It seems there is no possible way at the present time to notify the various prayer groups currently operating within the State of North Dakota, in the event of a major disaster, or a kidnapped child, or a shooter at some school, or any number of other things that affect everyone in the state.
Our goal is to connect as many churches that declare Jesus Christ as Lord, that he was crucified for our sins, died, was resurrected and lives today. We care nothing of denomination, and this is not intended to be denominational in any way. The only requirement to be involved in this effort is as mentioned above.
We are expecting that you have a prayer group of some type that is functional. Our hope is that you will join with us to pray for the needs of the State of North Dakota, and it's citizens. Occasionally we may ask you to pray about something happening in our Nation as well.
The plan is this. Each of the prayer groups can be notified by e-mail in moments when something is occurring within the state or may occur or one of the groups feel passionate about, whether it is something that is happening in our schools or even in our Legislature. The prayer Cell leader will receive the e-mail and then send it to your prayer group. Each group will have at the most 2 contact people who will be responsible for notifying their Pray-ers.
Our hope is that within about 10 minutes time a group of 10,000 people can be in prayer.
The group sending out the prayer request can either send the prayer, already written, which others can pray or just send the need. Prayer Cell contact persons would be connected by e-mail to each of the other Prayer Cell contact persons. We would expect that Holy Spirit will lead us to pray as He desires, for the given need, and we expect only serious and statewide needs will be sent. We do not intend for any Prayer Cell to be overburdened by too many requests. We will all maintain our local needs and not pass those along.
In addition to praying for the urgent needs that arise, we are hoping to enlist you to pray for some of the other needs of our churches, peoples and communities. Some would be Churches that proclaim the name of Jesus as Lord, and those who don't. For the finances of our churches and the ministries of the churches, for the small groups and Sunday School classes, for the Pastors and their families. The list is almost unending and if your prayer group is like ours it is difficult to pray for all the individual needs of the people, and still have time to cover the various "urgent" areas that need prayer. We are hoping that Prayer Cells can be formed where each group would choose one area to pray about regularly.
This is not some "brilliant" plan we have put together, but we believe that it is a plan that God has shown us as we were seeking how to cover all the needs that existed, and discovered we couldn't. We believe that the Goal that God has for us, is to link this state in Prayer. To be able to pray at a moment's notice and to make certain our people are covered in prayer during this time of economic woe, and the troubles that are upon this nation. Most importantly if an emergency arises somewhere in the State. The vision is of 10,000 praying within 10 minutes.
Please, we urge you to, pray about this. If you don't get a flat out NO from God, please assume He wants you to be part of this. It will take some time to get this operational, but it will happen...We are asking for you and your prayer groups to join us.
Your children, grandchildren, family and friends need you. Please say YES to our request to join us.
Sincerely,
Lloyd Ann Caston
