'Take Back Washington' Rally a Success!
Greetings:
The “Take Back Washington” Rally was a success, with more than 900 gathering to hear Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, as well as participate in the 5 individual break out sessions on issues important to the people of North Dakota.
We were privileged to host the “Preserving the Family” session, and we are appreciative of the all those who attended. As we opened the microphones we heard from the grass roots, the people. They passionately shared their views on life, marriage, and protecting our religious freedoms. They shared their concerns about many in our culture who fail to honor the life of the unborn, the sanctity of marriage, and the religious freedoms provided for in our constitution. Some referenced the need for parents to honor their obligation of Godly guidance to their children, and not step away from their direct involvement in the education process.
We truly appreciate all who courageously stood to share their supportive views for the family. And then we want to offer a special thank you to our panelists: Perrie Schafer, Alison Grotberg, and Jeff Johnston—for their insightful comments, coming directly from the heart. Thank you.
The views, comments, and above all, passion which we encountered---will energize us here at NDFA to continue to ‘stand up & speak out’ on behalf of the family, our family values, and religious freedoms guaranteed by our nation’s founding documents.
