MEDIA ANNOUNCEMENT Media Interviews NORTH DAKOTA FAMILY ALLIANCE PROVIDES A "ND FAMILY WEEK" 30-SECOND PSA TO AIR NOVEMBER 16-22, 2008 The North Dakota Family Alliance's (NDFA) 2nd annual Family Week occurs this week, November 16 - 22. Believing that the family is the foundation of society and that family values in North Dakota need protecting, the NDFA initiates and promotes key issues through legislation and public causes. North Dakota Governor John Hoeven issued a Family Week Proclamation at the NDFA's request. In addition to the statewide awareness of Family Week through this proclamation and posters to every North Dakota school and church, many businesses and various groups are drawing attention to Family Week. The governor's office and the NDFA provide a 30-second Public Service Announcement (PSA) to air this week through Saturday (CLICK HERE TO LISTEN); feel free to adapt this script to record locally as well. Its script: Hi. This is North Dakota First Lady Mikey Hoeven, inviting you to plan some family time the week of November 16 through the 22nd, North Dakota's 2nd annual "Family Week." Strong families make our state and nation strong, but it takes effort. We can all help North Dakota's legacy by nurturing healthy values and relationships at home, in schools, businesses, churches, the military and in our civic groups. We live in a great state...help us keep it that way. The North Dakota Family Alliance is a Christian-based statewide non-partisan organization that exists to strengthen families, protect family values and defend religious freedoms by educating and empowering citizens. NDFA is online at www.ndfa.org, and is located in Fargo, ND at 3220 18th Street South, Suite #8. Copyright © 2008 North Dakota Family Alliance
