May 3, 2014 - Healing After Abortion - A Post Abortive Panel
Sunday, May 3rd
The Vegas Hotel
2315 N Broadway
North Dakota abortion rates are lower than most other states, but even here, about 10% of pregnancies end in abortion each year. For many women and men, the act of abortion that was going to solve a ‘problem’, save a relationship or preserve a career, starts them down a long path of self-destructive behavior, emotional distress and spiritual confusion.
Everyone is invited to attend “Out of the Darkness…Into the Light: Healing After Abortion”. A panel of post-abortive women from North Dakota will share their journey from hurt, pain, and grief to healing and hope.
The panel speaks publicly to share the message of hope to those hurting from abortion as well as to educate and mobilize the church and the public concerning the negative effects of abortion on individuals and society. The speakers do not want to condemn anyone, criminalize anyone, or even debate anyone. They will share their stories and personal encounters with loss and redemption.
There is no admission charge. A free-will offering will be taken to benefit Dakota Hope Clinic, who is sponsoring the program. For more information, call 701-852-4675 or go to www.teamdakotahope.org.
